UKUncut target Philip Green

Our friends at UKUncut, the group that sparked successful nationwide protests against Vodafone’s high street stores last month, today announced that they will be targeting retail billionaire and government advisor Philip Green over his tax-dodging. Green’s Topshop store in Oxford Street was the subject of our very first flashmob yesterday, where we held a lecture to educate the marketeers who want to marketise our education!

Increasingly, members of the public are beginning to ask themselves why they should have to endure the pain of huge cuts when wealthy elites get off paying an estimated £25 billion in tax a year through a legalised form of theft.

This UKUncut poster makes the point rather well
